is a New York based performer originally from Massachusetts. She has been performing since a young age and has pursued many different avenues into the arts. MK currently resides in Brooklyn, New York. She has recently graduated from Hofstra University Cum Laude with a BA in Drama, minors in music and musical theatre. She was a member of the school’s chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, a national theater honors fraternity. MK served as the Managing Director of Masquerade Musical Theater from 2020-2023, producing musicals and musical revues including We’re Doomed (a musical revue), and It’s the Word: Songs from Grease. During her time at Hofstra, she studdied acting, music, voice, directing, stage combat, and choreography. In Fall of 2022 she served as a teaching assistant to Kerry A. She has also appeared on stage as a featured performer in the musical revue Dynamic Duos, Love in Everybody, Gazer in The Cagebirds, Betty in The Threepenny Opera, a Narrator in Aunt Leaf, and Robin in Horse Girls. For The Threepenny Opera she studied puppetry. Online she has performed as Hannah/Clara in Little Women and Jenny Casino in It’s the Word: Songs From Grease.

She has also done work behind the stage. In 2021 she stage managed an online production and honors thesis entitled Sweet Little Girl written by Julie Smith. MK also has a passion for costumes. She volunteered and worked in the Hofstra University costume shop since 2019, being hired as part of a work study program 2021-2023. As a work study student she worked costumes on all the Drama and Dance department productions put on by the University. She has learned various stitching and alteration skills. With the costume shop she has served as a dresser, wardrobe supervisor, crew manager, and repair crew on various productions. In the spring of 2023 she also stage managed and produced the 2023 Senior BFA Acting class showcase under Kevin R. Free performed at the Chain Theatre, NYC.

As for her personal time, MK has no shortage of hobbies. She spends quite a bit of time reading, mostly fiction novels. She also is quite passionate about keeping up with current movies and will find any excuse to go to the movie theatre. MK has taken two classes in ceramics and really enjoys spending time making bowls, mugs, sculptures, and really anything she can out of clay. She has also recently discovered a love for acrylic paint (though she may not be particularly gifted at it). She has a budding passion for embroidery and loves to teach herself new types of hand stitches. At the beginning of 2022 MK began to teach herself how to play the drums. This is an ongoing interest of hers she loves to explore anytime she has access to a drum set.
